On Saturday 18th of July Northants Amatuer Astronomers helds its Stars n Strips Day at the Geddington Village Hall

The day itself turned out to be a fun packed day for all, there had been talks through out the day by Mr Mizon from the BAA and also Kevin Smith, both speakers kept us all entertained with some fantastic and very informative talks.
There had been much on display also through out the day, such as a varietyof telescopes with members on hand to help demonstrate the workings of the telescopes, to miniature models of a variety of space-craft.
There had been children’s activities throughout the day also, a solar scope had been set up to give visitors an opportunity to see the Sun.
